squirreltail 15
Oh mate so sorry. what a beautiful lookin dog. Dont blame yourself there a lot of bad and good luck in the world and you just got the bad luck that day.Think of all the good times you had with her, a lot of lads and lasses on this site I expect, like me have had a brilliant dog, a dog that knows what youre thinkin before you say anything,a dog that you bond with the moment you see it, it hits you hard when you lose the brilliant one. Keep your chin up, some say its stupid but it can take years for the sad feelins to fade, they never go completely. Think of all you done for her and how she thought well of you.all the best. scotty3968 0
Shit mate totally gutted for you dont blame yourself she died doing what she loved doing, just have a vision of her running around in a massive field with the sun shining of her coat wagging her tail It happened to me last year with a much loved terrier..the pain does go away and you think you will never get a dog like her but every dog has its own personality and will be loyal to you although i still think of her ...i bought myself a little evergreen plant to remind me of her and it sits in the garden in pride of place .....R.I.P MEG scotty Quote Link to post

angierooke 0
of course you are a man and a better one for lovin' yer dog. she wouldn't have known owt about it and the last thing she was doing was what she absolutely loved. you gave her love and that's something some poor creatures never know. when the time is right you will give it again but you will never forget this baby. tears are healing -you cry all you need. take care. mistwalker 0
Gutted for you mate. It can be devastating when we lose our canine companion. In time you'll remember the good times and laughs and whilst Meg will never be replaced, your next lurcher will bring joy of her own kind to better your life. Our deepest condolences Kev Quote Link to post
