Jax13 251
The old terrier ratting trick is a two stroke blower, chainsaw or strimmer motor running a rich, smokey mixture and blast the holes with it. Not sure if it would work as well on a rabbit Warren compared to a rat nest though. There's only one way to know for sure! Quote Link to post
johnrthrfrd 223
My old man says years ago if they didn't have a ferret they used to put old camera film in the entrance of a hole set it a light and blow the smoke down the warren. Quote Link to post
The one 8,529
We did that years ago before locators lit a fire at one hole and tried to blow smoke threw a burrow to get the ferret back out , it was a total waste of time theres no way smoke would penetrate a large burrow from a handful of grass ,leaves smoldering in one hole , while rats may bolt from a smoker being used rabbits i reckon would just sit there and die 2 Quote Link to post
Danielm7353 3
Yeah I heard of some people doing it but others said the rabbits won't come out just die inside Quote Link to post
