sussex 5,802
The EU are demanding £1.7 BILLION by December 1st on the basis that the British economy is so strong ...good news in my mind , this is the best recruiting help UKIP could wish for ...The quicker we are of this money go round the better .

Born Hunter 17,841
Our economy is doing great but tax revenue has not mirrored that. In fact the deficit has increased!....... yet the EU still want their cut, of effectively nothing. It's like they actually want us to f**k off!
Blackbriar 8,569
That's £1.7 billion A YEAR, a 20% increase, on top of our existing contribution of £8.6 billion ! For comparison £10.3 billion is equivalent to - 11% of the education budget ............. or 22% of the defence budget ................ or 7% of the health budget. (2015 spending figures) You can decide which you'd rather have, bit I reckon it's a bit like the people who suggested the increase - a 'no -brainer' !! Brigzy 1,298
This should be a massive wake-up call to the British people ! Cameron, Clegg and Miliband are PRO EU, and want us to remain part of it. Voting LibLabCon only means more of this from the EU. The ONLY way to change things is to vote UKIP. Even if ukip don't form a government, but get a decent amount of seats, say 25 or more, they can change policy to better suit the British people, rather than the Establishment and the EU. Guest ragumup
Isn't Socialist wealth distribution a great concept ? The U.K. can support half of Europe ,all by itself ..... EU milking the UK cash cow...
RubyTex 1,957
The EU have control of Europe without a bullet being fired...get them f****d off, and they can stick that bill up their arse! What are they going to do, fine us? Lol, tell them to go whistle for that as well.,,

Chr15j 59
Can no one here see the irony/hippocracy Look at it this way... Mr abc earns £x and is taxed accordingly, if it turns out he in fact earned £x++ but didn't realise/declare the govt can tax him accordingly, he has to pay. If mr abc were to say feck off I'm not paying he would have hmrc all over him like a cheap suit If mr abc were mr rich abc, not only would hmrc be all over him but so would media and 1/2 of you lot This is EXACTLY the same as this eu bill! Yet now everyone wants us to tell eu to go whistle for it. Cameron is f****d either way on this, as would any leader in power be as both options are bad: 1) says we're not paying, being a hippocrite - then precedent set for anyone who doesn't want to pay tax to say well Cameron did this so why can't i? 2) pays up and be vilified by media/other sniping parties/general public I bet if we were getting a rebate we wouldn't be saying, oh no you keep that! Door swings both ways chaps Don't get me wrong I don't want us to pay this any more than I want to pay for jobless spongers but I have to, and so does the uk, until we leave the eu
Brigzy 1,298
How is this right when Greece, who are a financial basket case and have had to be given a 400 billion euro bailout, are being asked to pay more, and Germany and France , the two biggest economies in the EU are getting money back ? The whole thing stinks and we should have an in out referendum as soon as possible.
sussex 5,802
The irony is we (the ordinary people ) never voted to be in the EU , we voted to join a common market , a trading zone of Europe but have been let down & sold out by successive governments into not only joining their European dream but being controlled by it .Had the vote been taken on the basis of do you want to be part of Europe & under control of Europe the answer would have been NO ..
