pmruk 2
I am just getting back into shooting after a break of a few years and looking at getting an air arms pro sport but the problem is they do not do it with left hand stock, I have been told that they did at one time do them with left hand stock but can not find anything with regard to that, does anyone know if this is true, the only other option i have is to get one and try and find someone to make me a custom stock for it. Rez 4,961
No left hand Pro sports mate. Don't get me started being a lefty myself. Get a HC, Next best thing and available in left hand. Or get a HW Edited October 23, 2014 by Rez 1 Quote Link to post

pmruk 2
No left hand Pro sports mate. Don't get me started being a lefty myself. Get a HC, Next best thing and available in left hand. Or get a HW I did find out that they done a run of the pro sport in left hand but not a lot were made, I did think of the hc but even that is difficult for a left hand user to disengage the cocking lever lock, I did email Air arms but were not very helpful as i asked if they done left hand pro sport and if not would they sell me an action only so i could have a custom stock made and they sent me a reply with the short answer of no and no, I might just have to buy one and then get a stock made for it. pmruk 2
Id go down the hc route much easier I was going to get the hc but as I say i did read on another forum that they are only left hand stock but the action stays the same and is a bit of a task for left hand users but do like the hc more than the pro sport but was put off the hc for that reason only to find the pro sport is right hand only, just my luck. 1 Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Ball&*#$ to air arms pro sport. Im also a lefty and would love one but if they cant be arsed then there not having any money off me. Wouldnt mind a lefty tx but doubt i will ever get one- and if i do it will be second hand so the gunshop or some guy gets my money instead of stuck up tossers at air arms! Quote Link to post
j j m 6,539
Wonder why air arms dont do a lefty pro sport, theres plenty of leftys out there that would buy them Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
This conversation has happened many a time. If any air arms staff even are part of the forum, your wank. Your rifles are sound, but your marketing strategy is completely off the mark. Wankers. We're clearly all here waiting to spend nearly 500 beans and you still don't get the message. End of rant. 1 Quote Link to post
pmruk 2
I did reply to the email Air arms sent me saying I was disappointed to hear that and did they realize how many left hand pro sports they would sell and said i think they would be surprised but got no reply to that, I am still not sure what to do my other choice after that was a hw97 thumbhole stock version as it has ambi stock. Rez 4,961
HC mate. Honest. Real slick out the box. Probably looks better than a 97 too. HW if you fancy a fettle Quote Link to post
pmruk 2
HC mate. Honest. Real slick out the box. Probably looks better than a 97 too. HW if you fancy a fettle I will have to try and get a look at one and see what i think but it seems with me being a left hander it loos as though it could be a bit of a task to cock and load the gun, and i would agree with you that the Hc look a lot nicer than the 97. Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
After a decent fettle the hw97 will shoot as good as, if not vetter than any AA springer. Might not look as nice but the thumbhole.stock handles very well especially in wood. I have 2 rifles now.. a 97kt and a 100kt and they are both amazing. Dont need anything else Quote Link to post
