Hw100 Stock Oil

hello everyone, ive got my hands on my new rifle with its lovely walnut stock. I would like to protect the stock from weather, but I dont want to change the colours if I can help it.

So is there some kind of oil I can use without drastically changing the appearance?

hi jjm does it soak in properly, ive heard it or similar stuff doesent take very well. Does it change the colour much?

i use it as well on my hw100kt and its ok goes slightly darker tescos walnut oil

Went to asda last night, and set my stall out with loads to watch on sky+. They had every oil you can think of, except walnut oil! So I just got drunk instead. Ill try to get to tescos over the next couple of days. Cheers men.

I have been using Teak Oil on my HW100ks, bought from Wilko's/Wilkinsons, and it does a fine job. To be fair, any oil you put on decent hardwood like walnut will enrichen the wood and accentuate the grain over time. Had mine about 30 months now and used the teak oil every time, and I like the result.

What do you do , rub in the baby oil on the stock or the wife

Tescos walnut oil is great it makes the wood a shade darker but brings the grain of the wood look mint
