I kept mine for 9 weeks before I killed the cock birds and they where huge. A friend had the same birds at the same time fed on normal meal and brown bread as well as mixed corn and they where 12 weeks before they where as big. The commercial feed is the stuff. david jones 97 Posted January 10, 2015 Report Share Posted January 10, 2015 I went to a farm yesterday to pick up a dressed goose, anyway he opened up the freezer and in there was the biggest dressed chicken I have ever seen it was as big as a turkey I didn't think they got that big but obviously do.
