socks 32,253
Man city manager claims that they gave up their two nil lead to end the game two all because his players were to cold to concentrate in the second half .... FFS its almost farcical that these players who earn £102,000 a week can't play because its to cold ... Tell you what its lucky the people that work outdoors all year round in this country for £30,000 a year don't lose concentration and can't work if it gets cold or we would be at a standstill come the winter ... One word for it .... PATHETIC .........
Accip74 7,112
It's actually insulting to talk such garbage in public, just shows you how professional football is disappearing up its own arsehole....

So polite and politically savvy was the excuse that behind the scenes Eufa are considering having the match replayed. Cold temp resistance do not a professional footballer make, i know bottles of wine drinkers who can take temperature extremes but thier worth f**k all with a thin shirt and shorts on...ya get me

oneredtrim 148
I'm starting to wonder if Socks or Tomo know why the bubble coated CSKA manager was rocking like a demented Parrot...they could'nt possibly know why the referees brother was inside the ground swigging beer with cska fans (they'll be a penalty in a minute boys) when the whole operation was documented to have been played behind closed doors, through no fault of City fans...who were not allowed in. oneredtrim 148
Nope....no mention of shivverin weather in the Russian press, though there was this below, which is a bit suprising cause CL matches usually have a price hike due somewhat to fans from at least three european countries hosting banners/flags telling Platini and Eufa to f**k Off and usually something along the lines of being bent twats (i've not a clue/Tomo and Socks will no doubt verse ya) Still...with that in mind, it was a bizarre night even for the ruskies... After the intermission the fans who were cheering from outside the ground calmed down, and Istvan Vad's cousin became CSKA's loudest supporter. He put a flag of Hungary in front of us before the game, and during the intermission he was apologizing for his brother not having a chance to help CSKA in the first half.- I always support Russian football, - he was saying in Russian, - CSKA, Spartak, everybody.- The referee still has time to give them two penalties, - suggested we.Vad's brother took our joke for an instruction, turned to the pitch and shouted in Hungarian, even though you didn't actually have to shout to make yourself heard:- Istvan, give them a peno!We laughed. It was getting colder, Istvan Vad's brother was keeping himself warm with a bottle of palinka, sharing it with a friend wearing muskrat fur hat. When the palinka was no more, our Hungarian buddy started supporting CSKA vocally.- CSKA! CSKA!- Russia! Russia! In a few minutes he became leader of the stands, there were no one as loud and desperate as him in the ground. People from UEFA sponsor stand eagerly supported his cause; next to everyone there was rooting for CSKA. The Hungarian seemed fired up by the crowd support, so he turned it up a notch:- F*ck you City! F*ck you City!!If was a huge success. CSKA fans from sponsor stand followed suit, giving him thumbs up. One of those, who was sipping a beer (must have been a Heineken representative), came up and made friends with the crier. The Hungarian took turns between belting out pro-russian chants and giving instructions to his brother, which he was kind enough to translate into Russian afterwards. After Vad awarded a free kick to City after CSKA player committed a foul in midfield, the following could be heard over the staduim:- Leave him be, Istvan, he's Russian! Some may think it was a hallucination, but it all perfectly fitted the atmosphere in the stands of Khimki Arena, just like trained goats in films by Kusturica. Sponsor stand inhabitants rolled out a Novorossia flag, drank beer, smoked cigs. In the intermission there even happened a cramming (probably the biggest one in the history of closed door games) when people rushed to see Patrick Vieira take a 20-strong bunch of City EDS players to the concession. When Istvan Vad awarded a penalty to CSKA, his brother once again turned to us and exclaimed flailing his arms:- Told you so! oneredtrim 148
Wonder what they mean...seems an odd t-shirt..even odder that folk from other countries are turning up with banners proclaiming much the same...wonder if it's got owt to do with Vincents words with regard to who exactly is being punished or even remotely related to the re-jigging of cl seeding just recently. http://www.ultrasshop.com/index.php?a=sklep&p=
socks 32,253
I have no idea what the heel those last posts were about ... I didn't watch the game I don't watch any football ... My whole point of the thread was that during the after game interview the man city manager was blaming the cold for man city players not being able to concentrate .... I would have thought that they have a 102,000 reasons a week to concentrate ........
budharley 945
I'm not a city fan but that penalty is one of the worst I've seen still no excuse blaming a guy in the stands haha
oneredtrim 148
.... I would have thought that they have a 102,000 reasons a week to concentrate ........ Perhaps that where you went wrong Socks, you thinking about something that's salary related...not sure it works like that down reality St. ...the managers words are very p.r. related, he'll know well the immenent magnitude of disclosures his club are about to spring on Eufa and so a little pinch in Russia would be seen to be drawing the battle with a war just around the corner. He let his captain freewheel with why/how fans where there....drink fuelled from the sponsors.I'd imagine there'll be a few drinks of a different nature to give out in the forthcoming world Cup tournament, wherever it is... There is age olde saying in football...'Brazil will never win the world cup if it's hosted in Europe'...i think it arrived in football speak in the early '60's...thankfully nobody needs to be the brains of britian to work it out Edited October 22, 2014 by oneredtrim
socks 32,253
Whent wrong with what ? I was merely making a statement that the manager reckoned it was to cold for his poor little angels to concentrate and play football ... No fit or wrong a pure fact from the mans mount .......
