moxy 617
What mounts are you using to fit and more importantly adjust the add on illuminator to make sure it's lighting up what your looking at and so that your not just catching the edge of the beam. Thanks.
IanB 0
What model do you mean moxy ? I have a pulsar x850 illuminator that includes a built in weaver rail and the position of the beam angle is fully adjustable within the unit.
kanny 20,650
I use one of these on my setup its not a photon but the same principle. fully adjustable up down left or right http://odicforce.com/epages/05c54fb6-7778-4d36-adc0-0098b2af7c4e.sf/en_GB/?ObjectID=3254117&ViewAction=ViewProduct Atb Kanny Edited October 22, 2014 by kanny

moxy 617
It's a 550 but I've just upgraded to a T38 illuminator as the pulsar one is pants. Albeit it's designed to fit and to be angled correctly. So I'm after an adjustable picatinny adapter which will take a 25mm tube. Cheers.
IanB 0
Hmm Few options mate You could fit a quick release non adjustable mount like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/25mm-1-inch-Quick-Release-High-Profile-Rifle-Scope-Mounts-fit-Weaver-Rails-/161372096068?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item259286c644 , and just open the flood up slightly on the torch. Or Use one of these http://www.taclight.co.uk/products/fully-adjustable-rail-mount#.VEoJ4hbqfhI weaver adjustable mounts, but they use a small allen key to adjust and they seem to have a slight play in them at times. I've got a few different torches and to be honest, I just use an x850 on the N750 I have, basically because its more compact, adjustable beam position and power,, doesn't require another mount and uses AA batteries. Power wise its similar to a nightmaster 800, very slightly under. but if you tighten the beam up, its got a good throw. I do have a nightmaster and wolf light but the pulsar mounting position is rubbish on the side for bigger torches. I've just got a new nv scope and it has the top mount which makes it easier to mount a bigger torch if needed. Cheapest option is a mount in the first link and a T20 torch. moxy 617
I have the mount in the first link Ian, although "it works", I doesn't allow the best of the illuminator. So it's going to have to be a contraption like in the second link. I was hoping for something a little more steamlined Your right about the mounting option on the pulsar being a little rubbish but sadly that's all we have to work with.
