Wanted Mk 3 Ferret Finder Any Comments

Ok had a test on my mk1 finders the 8ft works but the 15ft is knacked so wonder if the deben mk 3 any good before I go out and buy one any reviews on them .

Could lend you one if you're interested then you can form your own opinion on them.

I don't use them every warren but they are a good bit of kit.

U need to tape the batteries bit to stop water getting in mk3m in my veiw

take some getting used to for a while after the mk1 but once you get used to them i would never go back to a mk1 they are far better.

 

The search facility speeds up locating the ferret and the pinpiont audible facility gets you bang on the ferret every time.

 

The only isuue is that both my mates 2 recievers and mine read 1 foot out.

 

The ferret is always 1 foot shallower than the reading but once you know you dig accordingley.

The new magnetic collers are great just turn on when needed and no tape needed as above mark 3 are better
