Mine was a noisy bugger and that's in doors but just needed settling in. I spent couple weeks on the settee bit extreme but I couldn't have him waking every one. But its mostly just time I think to settle but yea it does seems like for ever. Nowadays he is a quite as a mouse just sleeps 99.9% of the time

This calls for the Faraday-Swayze technique

Put wire mesh on the floor, raised if possible. Wire it up to the mains and everytime the little fuucker makes a sound zap the cnut until it's dancing samba ;)

If you can run a hose from your tap out your window or better again an outside tap. Face the buisness end into his pen by tying it up on his pen gate or if you have a sprinkeler that sprays foreward just put it on the grnd facing into pen. Every time it whines blast it till it stoppes but dont let the pup see you at all so as far as pup knows he is not getting your attention , be it postive or negative attention, and be on the ready to blast it the second he makes a noise and stop the second it stoppes so the pup has no trouble asossiating the negative response. this has not failed me yet, hope it helps
