Parabuteos lad 878
I got mine today as well, was previously using 210 tracer and think that the beam on this 150 is clearer, possibly weaker but I'd say only slightly. It's a nice tight beam my only criticism is that it seems a bit week when a red filter is put on it. Button is stiff when first arrives but eases up after a while 1 Quote Link to post

Parabuteos lad 878
No I got the one you can put on a normal 12v battery mate. It's got a nice tight beam mate but not too right and you only get the spot no excess light surrounding it Quote Link to post

Gaj1612 99
I ordered the rechargeable one when it turns up I'll let you know What it's like Suppose it depends how long you lamp for 2.5 hours run A time will sort me no problem plus I don't use my lamp for gates and things I wear a head torch or cap light Quote Link to post
Gaj1612 99
ok, so my lamp turned up today, first thing i noticed was how light it is, was expecting it to be heavier with the battery in the handle. so plugged in to charge for an hour before it got dark then went out to have a look. it feels nice in the hand nice and balanced and a good quality switch too. the beam is nive and tight but very clear. i tried the red filter and id have to disagree with the above post as i though it was fine. powerfull enough wouldbnt expect to do a massive field with it but then its only a small lamp. overall im very happy with it the only downside is that the beam isnt adjustable but i find it fine as it is. dogmad riley 1,343
Beam on left a 150 led & a 170 wth 22 lithium What's it like over the distance of an average field? Beam distance and spread etc Quote Link to post
THE STIFFMEISTER 15,700
Was looking at the exact same lamp today, they only make them round the corner as well so I might drop in for a look on Friday Quote Link to post
staffpeg 217
It's about 250m beam and yeah just as tight as the other beam ad say Quote Link to post
TOMO 26,042
Always love these threads about lamps,,,,I bet it's not long befor we see a real good torch type lamp,,that will give the lightforce a run for it's money.... But all these claims of 400 - 500 yards,,,,what a load of old shit,,,lol I've ran lightforce for over 10 years and it's the best,,,,but seeing anything over 200 yard is nigh on impossible ,,,,peoples judging of distance goes right out the window at night,,,rember 200 yard is almost the length of two football fields end to to end 8 Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,063
Most people have no idea of distance day or night. When you use longnets for ferreting you soon learn. Quote Link to post
FUJI 17,181
Agree there's about as much exaggeration on the length of beam as there is about peoples dicks ... Lightforce apart from the crap wiring takes beating but another downside is the connector to the lithium battery its wank too.. 3 Quote Link to post
