Hello folks new to this forum,looking to get myself an air rifle under twelve pounds as ive no gun license.

Not that much at start toby just looking to get decent enough one to start of with couple hundred lad

You should be able have a HW springer second hand for that money but not a PCP

Im with villaman. You should get a nice hw or an AA springer to get going and they would both do the job nicely

if you can get to £250 you could get a HW97 second hand.

Get a good springer, learn the basics well then if you change to a PCP, you'll be able to do a lot more. Although I'm a bit odd with my personal gun choices, I'd go with HW95 or HW97 as they are brilliant.

 

Don't be scared of second hand. If you buy it for £250, and it's in good condition, if you look after it well, keep it in good full working condition, you'll hardly notice a drop is the resale price. If you sold it a year later, you should be able to sell it for £249.99 quite happily.
