slipper 116 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Share Posted October 19, 2014 Went out last night took the 223 and a few rounds,had a walk around instead of in the 4x4, had one come into the squeak straight away in the first field, I was on top a hill and charlie was about 100 yards below on some fresh barley sowing so had a nice clear shot and dropped him with a Winchester silver tip, great start I thought but saw two more that were not safe shots, so that was it, but It was a good walk saw owls and a family of otters in the brook,very warm last night, I need a good breathable jacket!
