This is the bare facts, over the last 20+ years successive governments have gambled with the taxpayers money and lost.......big time !! This cancer reaches down as far as local councils too.   Over

Yes, I saw it; a complete hatchet job by the BBC/Establishment ! Why did they concentrate on what UKIP MEP's have been paid, when ALL MEP's, Tory, Libs, Labour, get EXACTLY the same pay and allowances

I'm sure I'm going to come across as cynical (surely not?), but this is how I see things in the mainstream.   (I'm paraphrasing a bit here.................... )         Conservative = More peop

Snp! labour and torys are now finished in scotland, ukip will struggle up here. Snp, Scottish party putting Scotland first..if snp get 30 or more wm seats, don't need a referendum...

Dream on, you've had your chance, why would Britain allow it?

i believe if we have enough wm mps, by law they cant stop it...?

time will tell, all the support a few weeks ago for yes is still there, massive rallys still going on, snp membership went from something like 25000 to 80000 plus since the 18th, scottish greens and ssp are reporting big membership rise

then you have the no voters who are already pissed off at whats going on down south with the promise of "more powers"

if the no parties f**k up the promise, theres grounds for something to happen, if scotland is removed from the eu theres grounds, if scotland speaks with a massive snp/greens/ssp vote and ignores labour/tories/lib dems/ukip as it looks at the moment then theres grounds, time will tell!

Personally I believe our current electoral system is highly flawed and it is totally unfair and every government we get is elected by a minority of the electorate, even if they win a large majority of seats through our 'first past the post' method. If we had proportional representation with a suitable cut-off of say 5% to keep the lunatics out of parliament, we would have a far fairer distribution of MPs that should really reflect the people's wishes. Granted it may give us no clear majority party to form a government, but again I don't believe putting one person in charge of anything big is the way forward.

Saying all that, I will still be voting Conservative.
