After all, you have a valid ticket. Personally, I'd just ignore them and see how far they can get with their threats, remember, it has to go to county court before any enforcement can be undertaken. To which you will get an invite and an opportunity to present your ticket. I wouldn't pay them fook all. That's providing it's a private firm. planete 120 Posted October 20, 2014 Report Share Posted October 20, 2014 I forgot to get a free ticket a few weeks ago when I nipped to the shops. I wrote to the address given on the ticket admitting I had simply forgotten and enclosing the bills for my purchases. I apologised and hoped they would let me off. They did!
