I wouldn't like to hook into anything to big in a kayak, and think an inflatable would be a much better option.

 

I've got an Avon Redstart 3m solid floor if anyone's interested.

Nah I don't trust inflatables when fishing mate, I've got two sea fishing boats if I want to go out in rougher weather or further of shore etc but it's nice and easy to chuck the yak in camper and not have to piss around trying to launch and tow a boat and trailer about.

great crack a proper fishing one is a better buy safe and easier to fish from
