Derr, avian, from the French , to fly....

 

Nope. Avion is French for aeroplane, and you won't have much luck shooting those.

 

Avian comes from avis, which means bird in Latin.

 

As others have said, you need to test pellets to find your rifle's favourite, then practise until you can hit a one-inch kill zone at your normal hunting ranges. Otherwise, your permission will come to an abrupt end when the landowner or one of his guests sees a wounded rabbit running past, screaming and bleeding. :icon_eek:

Many Land owners do not like Hares being Shot on their Land

 

Not offically a Air Gun Vermin -

 

Big issue with many Land owners is Shooters picking up and removing Shot Vermin

 

Several I shoot have old Fashion Roman Burners to clear un required controled Vermin

Join BASC!. You'll get loads of info off there site. If you're still not sure about something you can call them. You'll be insured for public and product liability. They'll help out if you ever have any problems with the Police. If you try for new permissions it's good to tell the land owner you have all of the above. I wouldn't be without my membership.
