hey fellas im new to the site and new to hunting faster game with dogs (i have pig dogs) ive got a pure staghound pup so it wont be long and see can get started just wondering if you guys can give me some tips to hunting fox's,rabbits,hares etc

Good on ya mate, what part of this big brown country are you in? There seems to be all sorts of Aussies on here, from all over the place. I'm from Tassie actually, just starting my first running dog as well. Plenty of wise heads to learn from on here.

 

Where'd you get your pup from? I want a stag once the whippet's working (but I want a LOT of different dogs, always changing my mind).

does that mean your between Adalaide and Sydny, i loved oz on our visit last year, welcome to the site.

 

advise on pup would be take your time, dont be in a hury to get it started. rabbits first. dont even bother with hares till its well over a year old. those big lurchers with a lot of deerhound in take time to grow up. both physicly and mentaly. all the best TOMO :) DONT WORRY WE WONT MENTION THE RUGBY :whistling:
