grompz 703
out this morning first light ,with my deerhound x got 2 nice clean rabbits, then a mxy well full of it on the land, then to cap it all the dog rattled his foot, toes seem ok but his foot has swollen up a fair bit, probably just gave it a good wrench, only thing i can do now is rest him up and hope he comes alright for this winter, just what i needed at start of the season, and yes hes had plenty of roadwork of late, most of my dogs have picked up more injurious in daytime than lamping any of you lads had similiar experiences atb for coming season. slip lead 862
Keep running a hose/water on it, the cold water will help to reduce the swelling, try doing this a soon as possible, even stand them in river/stream before you get home, but running water from (hose/tap seems to get better results than just standing in water.
