Nobby8126 96
Finally dipped my toe in and got my first ferrets. Can't wait to get them working but going to wait till the tail end of season as they are a late litter. Would like some advice on one thing in particular got 2 Jill's and 1 hob, will separate these before sexual maturity / first season so is it a good idea to get another hob to put in with my current one for company? Was thinking maybe last seasons, also to help show the way down holes? Comments and opinions appreciated. Met a guy off here who has taken me out a couple of times and helped me no end, looking forward to having a trip out with him where I'm a help rather than a hinderance. Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
No. Two hobs will fight like buggery come spring unless you get them both castrated. Quote Link to post

The one 8,474
Get your hob snipped when his balls drop next spring keep him by himself the required amount of time then put him back with your jills and watch he doesn't mark or cut there necks with too much attention but with two of them you should be okay Quote Link to post
