TUFFTY 1,476
Time to step joshua up a level...think fury next ..he ko him He won't be fighting fury as yet fury is fighting delboy next so either of them are not in the plans for a few more fights as yet. as Joshua will be staying active and not waiting month after month waiting. Anyhow me personally don't think there is any British guy to worry Joshua whatsoever.
antg 1,783
very good prospect for sure but its early stages for him. let him get some more experience before he gets a chance at fury. im not a fan of fury but i don't think joshua is ready for him just yet
MickC 1,825
I agree Ant, Fury isn't the best of boxers but he's a tough kid who always finds a way to win , plus if Fury beats Chisora he will more than likely get a shot at one of the World Belts in 2015 . gnasher16 30,279
Gnash If over the next 12 months Joshua fought In this order Chisora - January Price - May Fury - August Wilder - Nov What you reckon over 12 x 3 mins We all know he's looking good but how good is he now ? And how good will he be in 12 months ? Are the above too good at this moment in time or has he the beating of any of the above any time soon ? He,s still a first year pro mate i very much doubt he will be put in with any of those names in the next 12 months........its impossible to say he,s anything more than a great talent at this moment....can he take a good shot ? can he dig deep in a war ? can he tactically switch if necessary ? can he out think opponents ? can he out work and out strength an opponent ?.......theres so many more questions than answers with young prospects at the moment we know he hits hard and is a very good athlete.....the rest we will find out as time go,s by but you dont want to answer too many questions in one fight its not like years ago when you would have your gut check in the gym today they dont have gym wars the game has changed so much its that much harder to ascertain where a prospect is actually at.....but on the plus side we as fans get to see their qualities or faults unfold infront of our eyes rather than hidden away in a gym like years ago. I speak with Tony Simms from time to time they are looking at a British title within the next year which is about right if you look at the likes of Lewis/Bruno etc they was probably around the same stage...........on that display last night id say he has the beating of all those 4 names you mention......but again, thats based on what we do know about him not on what we dont know about him . AKA-BRINDLE 879
Joshua to fight Sprott next...end of November...should be a good test for him...(that africa tattoo takes the shine off him for me as a British boxer...petty i know)
gnasher16 30,279
Like i say the game has changed Max......only in todays era could a 8 fight pro be headlining a big domestic show that just never happened years ago when there was 6/7/8 x 8 fight unbeaten prospects.......the heavyweight championship of the world is historically the biggest prize in sport so Joshua being an Olympic champion is naturally one of the biggest commodities in sport and so people want to cash in on that be it managers/promoters/host venues etc......its not ripping off fight fans venues are sold out and people know what they are paying to see......theres always been 1 sided learning fights for youngsters thats nothing new......yes the division is at its weakest its ever been but not in this country we have 3 or 4 fighters on the fringes of world honours surely thats got to be a good thing. robin hood 109
Do you think 16stone 12 is light for a heavy weight, Joshua won well but not in same league as Tyson , Lewis,Holyfield, more a Bruno type boxer,,fury and Haye are way above him, chisora would be a hard fight for him, next sprott then i bet Harrison bit too much hype for me ,

Tiny 7 1,694
I like him. Cant believe really they are already on about haye tyson or even chisora. . The lads right at the beginning of career no need to throw him in the deep end. Id like to see him tick along for 12 to 18mnts get some great sparring in travel around abit and just come up through the ranks.... I think its his attitude I like none of this bullshit load mouth trash talking.... Just a staight up normal guy
