woolbr8stl 0
First day we found just a possum and skunk. We used the possum to school a young pup, it was a good spot for that. Saturday we walked for miles it seems and only found a 12 ft earth with a dog in for about an hour before coming out, never getting up to anything. Sunday we visited a farm we haven't been all summer, it made up for the day before. The farmer said a huge brushpile was busy with quarry so we put a dog in and he was soon working a raccoon. Not much we could do but wait. It bolted after about an hour right past a young dog tied out. We let the young one off and he found it on the creekbank under a tree. He pulled it out and a short scuffle followed. A boot on the coon and that was done. Grandsire and grandson together We packed up to move on but the young dog went right back to that tree and wanted back in bad. We dropped in the tube and he found what he was looking for, a possum. I'm real happy with his progress. Moved on then the old boy was digging on a groundhog. Finally opened a tube behind and pushed it forward, he grabbed on then we heard a rip and the hog bolted. All in all a great day and weekend Wooly Quote Link to post
