whitefeet4190 1,725
I'd say at least a 6 ft by 4 ft run plus a bed area each, and their not left in the kennel 24 7 Just my opinion but good luck and I'd consider a few things like a good base for kennels and drainage and air flow and sum where dry and out the wind for the beds Quote Link to post
nottzhunter08 898
im lucky to be situated behind alot of land so everyday dogs are over the fence and on the fields for a few hours.i know what im going to do for everything else and using concrete base. just wanted to know what size run other people use for 3 dogs cheers Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
In my opinion you should give the dogs as much room as possible but if your restricted or looking at a set size for a medium sized dog that's getting out at least twice a day I would say a run area without sleeping boxes of 10 foot by 4 foot per dog ..... jack68 628
You making it yourself or buying it in ..?? Quote Link to post
nottzhunter08 898
will make it myself buddy along with the help of some pals. all i need to buy is wood for a box and concrete for base. i have all the side fencing and roof etc Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,435
it will be for 3 lurchers guys. what do you mean by split into 3 sections gnipper? I wouldn't keep 3 in together mate. There's an old saying kennel three bury one but I'd be reluctant to put 2 in together never mind 3. 6 Quote Link to post

sikastag_1 689
I'd build three kennels mate Depends how much room you have and what design your kennels are going to be and what your budget is if space isn't an issue if build a block of 3 runs at 10 or 12 by 5 foot with a good cabin in each Edited September 4, 2019 by grant_c Quote Link to post
