bird 9,927
Whole charity thing bores me sorta thing. You sound like a rather confused individual....... helping others is about them not you ! Besides which, having wasted money on all sorts of shit over the years i can honestly say watching the face of a young child you have just helped is by far the most exciting thing ive ever done with money and something i,ll never get bored of till the day i die !......Try it you might just surprise yourself 100% true gnash my son went over USA teaching football to young kids 5-16 year old's, and he went in a lot of deprived areas .He took some kit (boots, tops, socks) for the kids to use ,some out of his own pocket. when he finished his 3 months there he gave the kit to kids to (keep) , he said the look in there eyes was great , they got fook all out there it was very humbling for my son ,he 28 in dec and he never as forgot them even though it was 9 years ago
trenchfoot 4,243
It would have been great to meet some of the kids that the fishing charity money whent to this year and see the happiness it can bring but just knowing that I helped contribute in a tiny way is enough for me ....... The beauty is not the seeing but the knowing...........seeing it is a bonus but being able to look at yourself in the mirror every day without swearing and shouting is reward in itself True Gnasher, but if you had that kind of cash at your disposal, writing cheques is easy. I'd want to put some of my time to continue making a difference to whatever cause I supported.

I just mean its boring hearing how everyone always says they are gonna give it to charity and stuff. Then the worst ones go public about it as if we must all know. It's boring having to hear how everyone's such nice people I've given money and brought food for a fair few homeless people. Nice feeling when something that means f**k all to you more aless helps someone out. I even shove a few quid in the tins in shops as ill only probably spunk it on beers, long as its a charity I wouldn't mind it going to.
gnasher16 30,121
True Gnasher, but if you had that kind of cash at your disposal, writing cheques is easy. I'd want to put some of my time to continue making a difference to whatever cause I supported. Thats fair enough......but regardless what wealth a person has nobody can save the world and being put on a guilt trip for giving money to one charity instead of another is not a nice scenario......hence i disagree, writing cheques is not always easy. RemyBolt 420
No mention of an army of ninja's yet? In total honesty, I think if you were able to get bored of things on your bucket list, you have a real issue with your imagination! Skydive while trying to drink champagne. Bungee jump while eating caviar. Buy a restaurant and cause so much of a commotion that you get kicked out or banned from your own restaurant. Get a wine named after you and open a vin yard with someone else's name just to confuse people....I buy RemyBolt 2015...from Socks's vin yard! That'd throw them off. Buy a fighter plane and fly super low by speed cameras to set them off and throw off their calibration. Give away posh suits and the alike to homeless men/women. Open a zoo full of invisible animals. Invest in flying cars! Who doesn't want one of them? No wait...invest in organic free range flying cars. That way they're good for the environment and you can charge double for them. Get an ejector seat in your car...and get your own seat as an ejector seat, because you need to know what it feels like too. Have your name carved into the side of a mountain, maybe even a picture of your face carved into the mountain like Mount Rushmoor, but only if you are squinting, so it makes the mountain look like it's not happy that people are taking photos of it. Buy a gift shot next to your face-mountain to sell novelty items unrelated to your mountain, like King Kong dolls, mini Eiffel Towers, and postcards of the Taj Mahal. After doing all that I think I'd waste the rest of the money. Edited October 7, 2014 by RemyBolt
WILF 47,040
To be honest I am shocked no one has brought up living in a hollowed out volcano !!.......I'd have said that was almost mandatory.
The Seeker 3,048
I want a car that doubles as a submarine just like the James Bond lotus, I would drive it out of the sea on all the beaches just to see all the jaws drop. I'd want a WW2 mosquito in an aircraft hanger that I could just look at every day. I'd want a swimming pool that opens up to allow my hawker harrier to vertically take off (just like Tracey island)
RemyBolt 420
To be honest I am shocked no one has brought up living in a hollowed out volcano !!.......I'd have said that was almost mandatory. Iceberg (not the lettuce) would be better. Not only is it mobile and able to sink ill-fated cruise liner's thus costing the world millions in insurance, but also it's not going to smell of sulfur/rotten eggs. WILF, I do fear you have not thought this out properly.
