I have never forgiven my parents for not being rich. Maybe that was why I didn't quite fit in? Lol

Don't knock Sandhurst grads, they see front line service just like the men they command. not in the way Churchill did though The bread and butter product of Sandhurst is troop commanders mate. They don't just graduate to become brigadier generals. Lol. Personally, I'd give a Sandhurst man as a politician my attention.

beast 1,884
now i have evry sympathy for the poor bloke alan henning, what a frightening and horrific way to die, but at the same time he had a choice whether to be out there or not. i would have thought that he was aware of the risks, and yet still chose to be there. helping those less fortunate than ourselves is a very worthy thing to do, but i'm afraid that once you have children THEY COME FIRST, their welfare MUST come before your own wishes. so you have a choice to pour every ounce of effort into raising your kids, or fecking off abroad in the knowledge that you might be taken out of those kids lives? very wrong to do that, i'm afraid and he should have stayed at home.

Not religious meself but it was good to see a common ground that would spell difficulties for islamists. Can you imagine them in their dozens holding their placards up at a military parade in Ballymena or Ballymoney? Or how about a republican parade that ends in a graveyard for their speeches? You couldn't sell enough tickets for something like that. Just the women here are hard enough, could you imagine them being told to wear a full face veil? Lol, it would be something else to see. Lol, it would be something else to see. your words are spot on. It would be nice to see both sides agree on the no mosques in Northern Ireland, but Sinn Fein and dup hate eachother too much to agree on anything lol. But the man in the street can take actions if needed over here still lol
