Silversnake 1,099
I have owned deer xs and bull xs and they are totally different beasts as has been stated this whole thread. I think part of the problem is bull xs look too impressive so idiots mistake looks for performance and claim their dog is a great worker. Do not mistake that a bit of good bull puts hardness and determination (gameness if you like) that you cannot get from deer xs and the deer xs offer speed, height, coat you cannot get from bull xs. There are also some very good mixes of deer and bull out there... 1 Quote Link to post

gamerooster 1,179
The main difference from todays apbts to staffs? Ability, performance, drive, gamness, mouth and athleticism, sure this doesnt stand true to every apbt, but the proper ones it does Quote Link to post

It was true of the 70's and 80's, but you only ever hear of the staffs beating pits, but more times than mot you dont hear of the pits that beat staffs, as it was just considered a "staff"....... funnily enough, the man who owned Ch physco for his first 18 months said a top notch staff is equal to a mediocre pitbull, his words not mine 2 Quote Link to post
Rat face 1,655
the right bred bull cross will take any uk game and i have seen it with my own eyes pre ban, maybe they wont take them all with the style of some of the other breeds but they can defo hold there own. but the key is down to the breeding as with any other working dog. 1 Quote Link to post
