That's fair enough truther. You have your opinions on world politics and I have my own. No where have I contradicted myself.

My ears aren't deaf, but what they hear is used to form different conclusions to you. Now if you make assumptions on my beliefs you may very well conclude that I have contradicted myself.

This thread wasn't a justification of the 82 conflict. But if you want to go down that route of discussion I'm very happy to.

That's largely true BH, you go down the same route with things in general, like the pointless killing of an elephant, having no problem with whaling, f**k the environment crack on with fracking, f**k innocent humans just kill them and take their shit, you were born way to late mate, you would have loved the empire. Maybe we should start exporting smack into China again, good profits in that, or re take India and keep exporting rice even if the crop fails and millions starve? I used to have pretty extreme views, i still do on some things, im no bleeding heart, but i look at my kids/grandkids our planet, and wonder what its all about, if we don't stop this madness mother nature will stop us, its a cert, were like a f***ing cancer that ultimatley destroys its host, not much difference imo.

Top Gear is sh!te, and has been for years now.... the same garbage regurgitated series after series. Not the first feature Clarkson's et al have done like this either, where they've basically gone to see if they can get away taking the piss under someone or country's nose. They're like a bunch of fcuking kids...and it would probably be funny if it was a bunch of kids, but not these clowns..., not any more. Granted them getting 'rumbled' gets them a bit of publicity, and no publicity is bad when you've got a TV programme to sell, but they have been made to look like a bunch of d!cks.

Clarkson has apparently tweeted "The number plate WAS a coincidence. When it was pointed out to us, we changed it. This was not a jolly jape that went awry. For once, we did nothing wrong. We knew absolutely nothing about the number plate, it was just an unbelievable coincidence. I swear on my kids' lives."

D!ck!

Clarkson says stupid things, i think its genuine mostly, not put on, we all say stupid things here and there but we aren't getting pulled for it, i find it a bit hard to believe this numberplate thing is a coincidence though, but is it important? i think not.

My favourite Clarkson quote is the Gordon Brown thing, he called GB a scruffy idiot, under a bit of pressure he said "ok, he's not scruffy" classic, and fair play to him.

Don't have a problem with Clarkson and, although I don't necessarily agree with everything he says, I have time for him for his lack of PC and having the courage to say what he thinks. This Argentina thing won't be entirely his fault either...I'm guessing that the company that makes Top Gear was probably scratching about thinking of ways to get a bit more publicity for the show and came up with this. The three goons must have all sat in a meeting and agreed it was a good idea though.

I don't give a monkeys about Argentina...but I can understand why they'd get a bit peeved at this stunt. Imagine the reaction if a trio of sniggering arabs were caught out filming themselves driving round Tavistock Square in a motor with 77 on the plate...., or round Manhattan with a 911 plate.

The TG crew are lucky none of them got a hiding. Don't think they could have had much complaint if they did.

Where have I said f**k the environment? Where have I said kill innocent people? Where have I justified the 'pointless' killing of anything?

You might consider my views extreme, I consider them pragmatic.

It's tit for tat, no worse than this...

I knew someone would dig that out...and I'd guarantee Top Gear intended to use this as a prelude to their feature on Argentina.

And I know it's not the end of the world, but it's just antagonising people in the name of entertainment. This is the BBC now?

Aye, it's childish tit for tat ladish chest pumping type shite. But it ain't like it is completely unprovoked. It's just funny and I dunno why folks are taking it so seriously. As long as Argentina keep whittling on about islands that have never been theirs the media on both sides will play their games. Take it for what it is...

You're right BH, this is opinion driven really, killing the elephant isn't wrong in everybodys eyes, but like mentioning the whale, its a reference to how your mindset comes over to me, you haven't actually said "f**k the environment" anywhere, you don't have to if you're in favour of fracking, its a cert, no companies really want to put money in until the TTIP deal goes through, that's good enough for me. Innocent people get killed all the time in these wars, im no fan of islam or muslims, but some muslims are just going with the flow, sadly not enough to turn the tide and its going to get really messy, worse than anything weve ever seen maybe, but were all to stupid to not let it happen. Greed and shitting on each other don't work mate, getting rid of all the nut jobs and stupid divisions, especially religion, decreasing the worlds population by agreement over time, and settling for less shite we don't really need, might work? but we wont make that happen, doomed, and for what? greed, imaginary gods? Pathetic, and we don't deserve what we have, we don't appreciate any of it really, maybe when were gone in millions of years and the whales multiply so much they eventually decrease in size, and have to move back on to the land for food, then develop into something similar to us, they'll scare their offspring with stories about the devils that nearly wiped out their kind with harpoons, some smart arse whales will put it down the "folklore" no doubt. Realise BH we are f**k all mate, just a nasty blip and a disgrace in the history of the Earth, shame because were so gifted at the same time.

Bit of a ramble, had a few, and were still on the same side lol.

There's way too many topics there to address them all in one thread. I think you'd be surprised at my views on many topics if you stuck to one and discussed it with me rather than drawing immediate conclusions, ie fracking. I'm certainly not a believer in raping the world or stealing from our neighbours. I'm equally not afraid to support things I'm uncomfortable with when I'd be a hypocrite to do otherwise.
