jacknife 2,005
Good should be more people like him Get sick and tired of these easily offended people
RemyBolt 420
At least it didn't say W011 FLK with a very cleverly placed retention pin to make it read WON FLK. To be fair, I did have to look up the numberplate and read the story to see what was so bad about it. Anyone else aged 30 or below might also struggle with that reference. Or maybe I'm just thick. walshie 2,804
I didn't get the reference either till i read the story. Good job the PC police are ever vigilant to find something to be offended by. FFS. If he used a random numberplate, someone would be able to find something wrong with it if you put the letters in a certain order and multiplied the numbers together in a certain way. Good for Clarkson!

I'm 29 but I'll never forget the events of 1982. I'm shocked that anyone could be unaware of the reference. Its the most recent occasion of British territory being invaded.

And one of our greatest military successes! I'm 26, but then everyone knows I'm a geek so the fact I got it probably would'nt suprise anyone, LOL.

The US have made 'stolen valour' a criminal offence. I feel the British lawmakers should do something similar.
