I've got one dog pup out of "Strike while the Irons hot" and a bitch called "loverly girl" who is also out of Mike Browns line but was owned by a guy from South Wales; I have found him a lot fun and to be honest He has taught himself to Jump fences and has picked up a few rabbits which is no mean feet when you take into consideration that they have all been day stalked as I don't lamp and use long nets when ferreting; although I wouldn't ever describe him as easily trainable like the Collie Cross I used to have, I have often thought that having come from what is arguablly a long line of working whippets maybe he is preprogramed for this type of work.

My only thought if you are going to one of MB's whippets is that Colour is worth considering; the reason I say this is I have often seen my Dog desperitly stalk along the hedges and as if he was some kind of cat stalking his prey, but he misses the rabbits as being black and pied (cow print) he sticks out like a saw thumb; Its quiet sad to watch, a bit like him being B&W is a punch line to a joke he doesn't get; He jus keeps on trying which can only be a good thing, but If he was that bit less noticible he might have a chance.

Good luck with the Pup Robbie4444 if he's anything like my'n you won't be sorry
