Its not as if this technology will result in a cheaper gas bill either.

People say the Iraq wars were all about oil. After all the blood and treasure spent I haven't noticed a drop in the price at the pumps...

In the States they are allowed to use all sorts of shit as Frack fluid, diesel, benzene, arsenic, medical waste. you name it they`ll use it to frack.

regulations over here are a different ball game.

 

and I for one, believe nowt that appears on US tv.

dont believe the hype :yes: I have been in the oil indusrty for 20 years all over the world and im on a frac job just now in Vietnam ....anyone that works in the industry will tell you that the 3 main things are safety ,no down time and no impact on the enviroment ....companies will be heavily fined if there is any enviromental issues....

If fracking doesn't happen, they will re-open the pits. Who is going down there to dig for coal? Very few youngsters will do this work. Probably Romanians or Polish.

I'd be down the pit like a rat up a drainpipe, going to work on the doorstep what more can a man want?

Joe I really don't see it being a problem in central Fife , there's places we can't enter a terrer as the holes go down to the old mine workings which run for miles so trying to flood those to get gas out isn't going to work

That's exactly what the TTIP deal is for mate, no more worries about pollution for the big corporations, and when it does go tits up, and it will, they get compensation if their business has to stop, compensation is decided by corporate lawyers, once signed up nobody can stop them one way or another, disgusting and corrupt.
