Hw100Kt Help Please

Bought myself a .22 hw100kt ive tried a number off different pellets through it aa field,HN ftt,crossman premier and accu pells the last seem to be the best although im still not confident to go out hunting with it.

After shooting 2 shots 1 hole it seems to shoot pellets to the left,right,up an down ive checked the barrel to make sure its not loose and it seems fine, the other pellets ive tried look like an uzi has shot at the target im starting to think theres a problem with the gun ive also let others shoot the gun and its the same for them any help pleeeease would be gratefull thanks

This may sound daft ,but I put a scope on my rifle , and zeroed it in . The pellets were every where ,

Then I realized I hadn't tighten the scope mounts right up .

 

Daft thing to do , yet worse to admit that on this site (shit my way ) I've all ready got the bucket ready .

 

Just a thought for your self , simple mistake

do you have a silencer on it mate, the pellets could be clipping it

The gun came with the silencer fitted i took it off earlier to check the barrel wasnt loose i will try and shoot it tomorrow without the silencer

i have had that happen to one ages ago that's why i said it, the bits inside the silencer had been moved by whoever owned it before me, i took it to a gun shop and thats what they found wrong, i bought a new silencer and everything was fine from there on

Cheers mate the gun was brand new if this is the problem the shop can put a new mod on it

If its new have you cleaned the barrel ? only because they come with a load of grease in them and you must clean that out first ,so you need a pull through

The HW 100s barrels at the moment are a little hit and miss (pardon the pun) if that's the case take it back and get a new barrel fitted ,mine had to be done ,could not get it to group with any pellet but its great with any pellet now

Get some pellets shot through it and get the barrel leaded in, 500+ and it will be the most accurate thing on this planet

I havnt cleaned the barrel yet but have put about 3500 pellets through it, I thought it might have needed leading in too.

did you contact hull cartridge or the shop you got it from villaman

HC picked it up from my house and sent it back direct to me , but try cleaning the barrel first it does make a difference

Fairplay to them, ill get up the range tomorow after ive cleaned the barrel hopefully this solves the problem otherwise ill give hull cartridge ring

Well tried all of the above on this post guns still not grouping took it back to the shop i got it from they checked it out and said they couldnt see anything up with it,so they rang hc and its being picked up tomorow hope all goes well cheers lads
