yeh not for me though lol do me head in I have enough probs with colliexs lol, but if you used to saluki xs prob be good lurcher .!

a mate has a first x saluki collie just for mooching about it does it job but hasn't got lot speed,, its him that putting saluki over his bearded collie greyhound hoping to get something with a bit more poke

it should then with the greyhound in there then, and bearded arnt that slow either, might be ok .!

Same here, I like the sound of it on paper, but I find collie crosses a bit too quirky for me, let alone adding saluki to the mix.

My next lurcher would be GSD or terrier cross, possibly a splash of bull even.

you find the gsd are a different mind-set to collies , they seem to me they more of (just do it) type of dog, where I find collie think about things and some times to much , if that makes sense and drop of bull is good thing like bull in a lurcher .

I'm Sure tommyc had one bred that way got it off another member on here

 

I'd take a chance on one I reckon they'd make a handy mutt

I bred a litter along those lines a few years back the sire was sal x gh/whip dam was 3/4 gh 1/4 beardie, bitch I kept back done a cruciate at a young age, another 3 from the litter that I know of have turned out decent dogs all taking fur and feather, its a cross imo that does its job well
