Feeding Advice

i got my first ferrets this week (yesterday in fact) and its my intention to feed a varied diet consisting mainly of rabbit and a complete dry food but i was curious about feeding other things to supplement their diet a little.

i have a hog roast business and as such, most weekends i have leftover roast pork that i can no longer eat (too much of a good thing!) and was wondering whether the ferrets would A, get any benefit from it from a nutritional point of view and B, just have it as a treat once or twice a week (i'm thinking i could feed it alongside the complete food for a couple of days then feed fresh bunny the rest of the week.)

also, on the pigs the kidneys are left in and as a rule, they end up in the bin. again, would there be any nutritional benefit to feeding them or is it worth trying it just as a treat. again, i could give them for a couple of days alongside the kibble.

lastly, what is the general opinion on egg feeding? ive read a lot of conflicting things about it so don't really know what to think with regards to giving them at all or just chucking one in every week or two (we have chickens and geese so would look at using these on the day they are laid rather than two week old crappy shop bought ones!)

many thanks.
