i agree with you johnny,if the poiticians supported the troops we wouldnt need help for heroes everything they needed would be provided when they returned injured from what ever conflict,i find it sad we can bend over backwards to make sure home grown and imported sxxt bags have everything they need provided by the state and our injured service men and women have to rely on a fxcking charity

Why isn't more done for those who have been in the army? I bet everyone would support it and the mps work for us. If they cut the money we give in aid abroad which doesn't actually reach the people, and helped those who have served the country more. Who would object to that? Can't see why it's not just common sense. Do mps have shares in the companies we give money to or something? Charity starts at home.

The Sun don't have a monopoly on supporting out troops, and Miliband's refusal to dance to their tune might actually show he's got a bit more backbone than the other three stooges.

The thread is about what the Sun headlined with yesterday and, whilst I'm all for freedom of the press, I resent the ability of one newspaper to pull the strings of our political leaders in the way they do....and I dug up a few people for taking the Sun's bait.

 

Anyone who sexually abuses children, or assists by covering up that abuse, should be locked up. That's not how I'd deal with them, the punishment would be much more violent and final, but that's the law and it's what should happen. The Jay report was pretty damning of a number of people who's job it should have been to stop this abuse but out of fear of losing their job maybe, or for political gain, done nothing. That's an unacceptable dereliction of duty and I'd like to see the individuals concerned prosectued. But, unless you're going to tell me that Miliband knew about this and covered it up it's got nothing to do with what the Sun did yesterday.

 

On your last point....I'm not sure what the fcuk you are trying to say! I didn't even know that Rotherham council had a PC handbook. It was a true dit about my mate's sister....much, much funnier when he tells it and does the accent.
