Try Manuka honey. Keeps shit out, lets it heal from the inside out and has antibacterial and antibiotic properties.

 

I was amazed when I used it on a similar wound.

Trunks post are some of the best on here he works his dogs well and as for cubs, as has already been said he is on her come January still catching so wouldn't call them cubs
