RemyBolt 420
It's times like this I wish I had a DVD player and a TV - Woodga, get your video on a paid for downloadable format. I'm playing with the brass wire and things like 2 strands for rat snares is coming to mind. I assume that's 2 strands of brass 0.457? I'm also assuming the wire needs to be twisted. Is it okay to simply twist the wire by putting it into a drill and letting it spin for a few seconds? Sorry for the total beginner questions, but I'm very keen to learn as much as I can. moxy 617
I couldn't tell you the correct gauge but a drill maybe too fast, you could do with a hand winder. all explained on Woodgas DVD Quote Link to post
RemyBolt 420
Thanks lads. I had a little play with the drill and it seems okay, but I don't want to screw it up too much. Or get it totally wrong. 1 Quote Link to post
RemyBolt 420
Just looking on Trapworks at a 4 ply snare: http://www.trapworks.co.uk/shop/rabbit-snares/4%20ply%20rabbit%20snare The wire looks really tightly twisted. Is that how it should look? Quote Link to post
