Snare wire has been ordered.

Woodga, I really hope you're not offended but I cannot purchase the DVD you've recommended. This is where it sounds crazy...we don't have a TV, DVD player, or any way to watch DVD's. My laptop is a MacBook Air, and has no CD drive. I would have to ask a neighbour whether I could use their TV and DVD player. I'm a proper ludite at times. That's right lads, not even an XBox or PlayStation. Instead of a TV we opted for a library. So, as much as I'd love to purchase the DVD and learn from that, I would just be sat there with a pretty little DVD in a case that I'd not be able to watch. Sorry mate.

If your interested in using snares for rats, Alan salmon @ master hunter did a short instructional DVD that shows the construction and placement of benders.

Rem,   Lots of excuses, would you like us to start a hardship fund for you?   Could always buy an external cd player that plugs into laptop, just a thought

Woodgas away for a week so it not get posted till Monday just a heads up

Rem,

Lots of excuses, would you like us to start a hardship fund for you?

Could always buy an external cd player that plugs into laptop, just a thought

or even portable dvd player for about 50quid or get second hand one

Hardship fund? Haha, I wouldn't complain. Although the reason we don't have a TV is out of choice and not poverty. But I won't say no to free money haha.

The idea of buying a DVD player would also involve buying a TV. Portable one is an option. But I've asked a friend if I can pop round and use his computer to watch a DVD. Not heard back yet, but if it's a "yes", I'm buying me a new DVD player.

Thinking about it, I might be able to watch it in the office in my lunch break. Will just bring in some headphones.

Woodga, you have a purchase! Just completed.

so what do you do at night when others watch tv if you not out

We (my wife and I) love to read, learn other languages, spend time talking to each other, hang out with friends, go to the gym, go on walks, a lot of Friday nights I go ratting down one of my permissions (the wife often work's early Saturday morning, so we can't often do nights out on Fridays), now and again we'll watch stuff on the laptop, but with it being a MacBook Air it's not got a CD/DVD drive.

But usually we'll cuddle up, candles out, reading our books.

Currently I'm reading about snaring.

Are you armish remy shunning modern technology

Haha, yes. I'm the only Armish with ipods, mobile phones, solar panels, guns, a car, and stuff like that.

I'm kidding, I'm not really Armish. It's just TV's that I'm not a fan of. Never really been a fan of watching TV. As a kid I was too energetic to sit down and watch anything. Because I don't drink and never have (I've been drunk 5 or 6 times in my life) I've never monged out in bed with a hangover and watched hangover TV. At uni I didn't have a TV either, although I would play on my mate's playstation, obviously with him in his room on his TV. A games console is the only reason I would bother with a TV, but I'm crap at games so will probably never get a console.

Oh my goodness, I'm a ludite! haha
