Fry them as you would mushrooms ,in butter .As said before DO NOT eat when open as they build up toxins at this stage .They look a lot like mushrooms but are bigger and flatter and more feathered on top when open .

 

Oh bugger that , i cant be trusted to get it right, i may kill my husband :whistling::whistling:

Cant take the credit for the pics my husband took them this time , he likes a mooch around over the weekend :)

i know what i would rather eat and it aint the mushroom ... :D:D:D how come he gets so close to them without them scarpering ... :hmm: is that a deer fence in the back ground :hmm: eh eh is it ..is it :laugh::laugh:

 

If your quiet you can get pretty close to them :)
