Dunkanon 380
Starts first time, and tics over no problem but starts to misfire when ridden. even more so when going uphill, to the point it loses power and acts like its going to stall. Flushed out tank and fuel line and replaced with clean fuel but still same. any suggestion? cheers.
moxy 617
Clean the air filter and check the float valve isn't clogged with crap. It's the little knurled hand screw located on the carb, held in place with a spring. Unscrew it fully and remove. There will be a spike on the end of it. When you have taken it out fuel should leak out, give it a wipe and replace. This will also adjust the tick over which will alter depending on the engine temp. If this has no effect, then check the all the fuel hoses for splits. If still no joy then look at the electrics, spark plug etc.......
moxy 617
Rereading your post........... Replace the spark plug but what I have already put isn't bad practice
walnutwhip 12
Good carburettor strip down will sort it usually accessible from float bowl sounds like shes not coming on the main jet ie fuelling more. Buy yourself some carb cleaner / electrical cleaner - fuel seems to crystalize when left for long periods just not what it used to be... Hope this helps
