slipper 116
When foxing from a truck do you turn the engine off whilst calling,? Its just a fox could appear from behind so if the engine was running you could swing it around to get on target as opposed to starting the car up again which would make more of a noise? Is this what you do? Quote Link to post
DeerhoundLurcherMan 997
When we are out shooting, we shoot from a suzuki vitara 1.6 petrol which is very quiet and ticks over smoothly enough to shoot from, but a big diesel engine will rock about a bit and be a little noisy... For us.. Engine on for rabbits and off for foxes... 3 Quote Link to post

Chr15j 59
I prefer sitting in a muddy ditch ready with my rifle but whiling away my time on here whilst waiting for nothing to show up. Bit like fishing with no bait sometimes Quote Link to post
cragman 2,812
I always park up at the farms and walk out. Some guys I've had with me haven't been back as they're fecked afterwards and don't fancy it again. Quote Link to post
celticrusader 78
Depends cragman, some people work at they're own pace and take they're time and some quick march and if they're not in the know how its there opinion of too much work. One things for sure some hunting /shooting doesn't require a lot of work but a lot of riflework requires harder graft. Quote Link to post
