Lab 10,979
Or he's a true passionate patriotic Scotsman that's realised that over half the country is exactly the opposite and is wasting his time on them. Fife voted NO Cheers, D. They did mate and that was very disappointing for me...as well as a shock. Ah well Fife we will just have to be......don't think we have the right to put 'Kingdom' infront anymore. ?

The Seeker 3,048
FFS I understand some of the yes voters are pissed off but at least be pissed off with the right people. Salmond could not answer critical questions about the future of an independent Scotland. Would you go and get a mortgage from a bank and when you ask "what are the repayment terms, how long is the mortgage for, what's the interest rates?" And the bank said "we don't know just take the mortgage out and we will sort it out later" would you do it? Of course you wouldn't, and that was the problem with Salmond and the yes vote. It's no one else's fault Just saying

Your boss tells you he has a job for you that could possibly make you very rich? Do you take the chance?? Many people have done before. Some have regretted it and some have went on to be very rich. C556 351
I've got to admit I do feel a bit sorry for Salmond, after all he's went through he's got to be felling pretty low at the moment. Someone really should send him a box of these:

Joe1888 672
jon snow wrote about salmond in his blog the other day, the last part said We shall miss Alex Salmond. But I have a sneaking suspicion that we have not see the last of him. whats interesting is, looking at the % of voters you can view them in detail here : http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/sep/20/scottish-independence-lord-ashcroft-poll?CMP=twt_gu without the oaps the result would probaly be different, that generation wont be about much longer, at the moment theres also a few pissed of no voters.. theres alot of doubts about the promises made, lord ashcord has also said today If the Westminster parties do not deliver on the "vow" made to the Scots in the #indyref then expect siren calls for another referendum. the three parties better get the finger out!
