Well said mate...Also I won £10 with the bookies but I had to put 50 on to get it as the odds were 5 to 1 on. It will probably be the last time I get a tenner out of a jock so well done Scotland and long live Great Britain..

he may well be but he was and still is a very clever politician and no i find him cringworthy but he got over one and a half million scots to vote for his idea he had the three main party leaders begging and pleading and he has got scotland more power and a bit closer to independence not bad for a prat wilf.

Well. I didn't vote for independence, but I did vote for SNP in the past, sounds strange I know but I think a lot of people in Scotland would have opted for a third option if it was on the ballot paper, SNP with more powers over Scottish matters. It would have greatly reduced both yes and no totals I think. .On a domestic scale Salmond and SNP have not done any worse for Scotland than any other party and the only other probable option would be labour and I'd as soon stick pins in my eyes as vote for that shower.

As to Salmond, well, at least he realised he'd been humped knew the game was up and fell on his sword, that in itself is something, consider the libdems and Clegg and all the other parasites in public office who totally disregard the will of the people and cling on till the very last feed.

Undi, to be honest mate I don't see what there is to be pissed off about........if you fancied independence then I can understand that your disappointed but to be honest, as soon as wee prick couldn't tell you what money you would use they should have said "right stop!....come back when you have thought it through properly"

 

As it stands, it was the right result because unless you had your own central bank and currency you would have been independent in name only anyway matey.

 

You can't have a proper vote on one thing that works and another thing that's just made up nonsense......you have to have 2 serious well thought out plans with all the "i" dotted and "T" crossed mate.

Everyone is getting the blame apart from the one person who didn't have the answers , only "scaremongering" and "hope" . Well the SNP have got about 35yrs to sort the answers out or are they going to wait 33 years then rush something through like they did this time?
