treecreeper 1,136
thats it, cant beat it for sport though, fill your boots and not worry about them being wasted. I need a few frosts to get the cover down before I can have a few. There is always a few resident but struggle because they don't break cover much because the farm dogs are always mooching about. hutch6 550
Top shooting Moxy. Can't beat a good night of plinking on the scaley tails. I took my rifle for a service as the modulator wasn't functioning too well. The lad at the shop said "There's a fair bit of dust in here". I said "It's not kept in a cabinet for show, it's a tool for doing a job!" When he returned it to me he said "Try not to get dust in it this time!" Der ferk!!! Don't think he's ever been on a farm. 1 Quote Link to post
RemyBolt 420
Moxy, I didn't know you shot. I thought you spent all your time modding the forum haha. I'm kidding. Good shooting. My only issue is the same as you've already been pulled up on...the stock in the poo. The trick is to have a carrier bag or 2 with you. Well impressed though. Bringing up numbers like that is big. With the fields cut and winter on it's way, the rats will be drawing in on the barns and hay bails. I'm hyped about that. There's a stock of hay bales on one side of the farm I shoot at and every winter the rats migrate there for the warmth. I'm looking to try and hit triple figures there in 1 night...while wrapped up warm, shooting out of an open window from my car. 1 Quote Link to post
moxy 617
Cheers Hutch and Remmy Regarding the stock, it has an adjustable but pad, which is rubber, so wipes clean Quote Link to post

ArchieHood 3,692
Permissions that produce these sort of numbers are a rarity these days.I had quite a few sites I could visit that guarenteed rats, alas due to certain guidelines the pesties arrived with their bags of treats putting paid to therapeutic sessions of vermin bashing.Nice one Moxy.........well jel. 1 Quote Link to post
moxy 617
Absolutely Arch, there are a few farms we regularly haunt for Rats and none hold numbers like this spot, if I'm honest they never likely will. Quote Link to post

They'll always have low numbers if you're doing your job right haha. Quote Link to post
