Gill Netting

The float lines are better for surface nets if the nets fishing where it shouldn't be ;).. the newer type of float line is flex line , these lines are very popular for bottom and mid water nets as they have an even distribution and the lines flake down real nice so the gear shoots nice from the bin ..

i think flexie is THE thing for trammels and like bill says for nets that cant be seen ;) flexie is hard to see on the surface by torchlight

but for normal ground gear then nothing beats 50gram floats for me and the same for surface gear

Why wouldn't you want your net to be seen ?........i found it much better last week to be able to see mine. Unhappily my phone went for a swim so no pics but I was well happy I could see mine lol.

if its floating about under the forth bridge....trust me you dont want it seen haha
