pesky1972 5,364
Snapped this one sat on the back fence. I know they're almost as common as crows now but they weren't when I was a lad, they were a rare site so I still get a buzz from seeing them in the garden, especially on a kill. Curious about the white patches on it's back. Anyone know, is this a young bird or maybe a moulting bird?

Did think it was maybe a young bird..., it had a pretty vacant adolescent look about it, and wasn't bothered at all by me hanging out the window taking the photo.
