For Sale English Hand Made Knive (Some Damascus)

a small gathering of blades for your enjoyment .

 

first up are the very very last laser cuts , i moved house and this little lot showed up , i think i may have kept them for my own use but that seemed crazy as i can make what ever when ever .

4 small knives

they are aprox 4mm thick o1 tool steel heat treated in sheffield and everything else done by me at home.

 

8" in total length with aprox 3" cutting edge.

all finnished in acrylic handle materials . the leather is 3mm english calf died black.

i have 11 in total, as follows.

2x tiger , hi vis orange and black one has a flaw that is stable but there so im letting it go cheaper .

2x snow leopard cream and black

 

 

the price for them is £50 each and £35 for the damaged tiger thats cheaper than iv done them before i think the price covers paypal fees and uk first class recorded delivery .

there is a fieldcrafter to , finnished in red marlee burl , no makers mark and the very last of the original blanks , i know that because i was keeping it for a momento .

then some of my own hand forged damascus / pattern welded steel .

there are two knives , a hunter and a skinner .

 

 

first up the skinner 10" in over all length with 5" blade .

blade is knicle steel and o1 tool steel , aproximatly 200 layers in the blade , its a random wood grain pattern with high polish. the blade is slightly up facing for skinning work and although still a solid thick piece of steel its been flat ground with a false esdge to reduce the weight and profile. it has an iron guard and marlee burl handle , and shaving sharp. 3mm english calf sheath all made by me at home .

£200 on this one please .

 

 

 

then the hunter

almost 11" in total lenght but cutting edge makes up 5" of the 6" blade with 5" handle.

i love this knife and when i started making my biggest dream would have been to make and own something like this .

is also 200 layers of nickle steel and o1 tool steel in a wood grain pattern with high polish. has a solid damascus guard of 100 layers of the same steel. marlee burl handle and stylish 3mm english calf sheath with pop fastner. shaving sharp and like all my knive ready to do some work or just look good !

£250 on this one please as its taken bloody ages to make and used a ton of expensive steel.

I took the large hunter to the forge yesterday as I have started teaching blade smithing and pattern welding there . Two professional time served black smiths and a class of 4 students couldn't believe the quality , finish and sharpness of the knife (there words) I shaved my arm with it demonstrating is cutting ability so look a freak now, but It's one of the first times iv seen that reaction , simply because I sell mostly through the internet ..

 

So I'm really confidant that the buyers will like what they got out of this collection ..
