rossandjet 0
I was told by Target Sports at Bolton that the price of Eley subs was now £90/1000 and rising Quote Link to post
trappa 518
So which is the best rimmys or are they all "of similar"?? eley, remington, magtec? or others Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
Eley and Winchester are on a par, and usually shoot to the samepoint of aim in a lot of guns. We sell the rws subsonic too, and thats quite a decent round. Remmy,s are very good, considering how cheap they are, but i,m not keen on magtec, or cci subs either.Lapua are very good, but have always been expensive. Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
Ammo is always an immotive subject....if it works for you and you can afford it by all means carry on. Eley, Winchester, CCI etc etc so what!!! Much, although I do admit not all is in the mind! I have tried just about everything and on the .22LR Sub front I have settled on Magtech 40g HP. They work for me and are not exactly expensive, they also work for my lad who shot a 1 penny (the new penny before you ask) 10 shot group at 50 yards with my gun! I have days when I can't miss and days when I can't hit a barn door.....if I have a couple of bad days I always check the zero...almost always to find it's spot on, so I give myself a proverbial kick up the arse and hey presto everything falls down dead next time. I genuinely believe 70-90% (or more) of shooting is in the mind, if you are confident it will happen, if you are unsure it will not! Deker PS Magtech .22LR 40g HP £33 per 1000 Edited November 6, 2007 by Deker Quote Link to post
Alex_W 0
I bought 500 Eley subs for £30 on Friday, here in Essex. The increase in rimfire prices has hardly been as eye-watering as the hike in shotgun ammo prices. Quote Link to post
