What are you feeding? Many manufactured complete foods are very low in fat content, as well as being high in cereal content which is not the best type of food for dogs. What appears as dry skin can also be caused by 'walking dandruff': a type of mite that lives on the surface of the skin and can cause itching and loss of fur.
