Treating Lung Worm With Ivermectin Injectiable?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help me out, have a dog with all the signs of lung worm and from what ive read it seems one single dose wont work to clear up an infestation . So should i give every week? Every other week for a couple of weeks? Also should i be giving a bigger dose for lung worm. Any info greatly appreciated cant really afford the vets but of course if i have to i will. Cheers

if your dogs showing signs of lungworm its probably to late but a dose of ivermec a week apart will sort it , what dog is it ? I give all mine a shot of ivermec every 6 months just to keep on top of things , but lungworm isn't that common in the uk and a lot of other respiratory problems are blamed on lungworm , bayer and your good old vet dick turpin are well versed in bullshitting you out of your money
