Rimfireboy! 1,463
I couldn't get good accuracy from the shp cci's' the the standard hp cci's are more accurate for me. Also, I found the shp's to give off a bit of a crack compared to most subs. My local dealers have told me that there's nothing coming through from cci at the moment? Quote Link to post
delswal 3,819
Ok, hands up on this one, I have not used the 1640ft/sec., 32g version of these, just the 40g subs. The 40g were expensive and no use in mine, groups were all over the place and any sort of pressure on the tip and it used to simply fall apart whilst handling it (slight exaggeration). So, I remain unimpressed with, and don't use the 40g. 1640ft/sec is not slow for a .22lr so they must have found a way to beef up the tip over the 40g version, or I suspect it would fall apart in flight!? Is anyone else using this 32g version and if so what results are you getting? I don't have any problems with my usual 40gHP (if I want more I use my HMR or WMR) but a box of the 32g SHP may be worth a try, if I can find them anywhere! Ooops I've just bought 100rds of the 40g subsonic, hope I have better luck than you did Deker, and yes they are not to cheap, York guns charge £15 per 100. Worth a punt, if nothing else just to satisfy my own curiosity. Quote Link to post
